HAICTA is an autonomous, non-political and non-profit organization, member of the EFITA (is the Greek branch of European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and the Environment). The acronym HAICTA is the abbreviation of Hellenic Association of Information and Communication Technology in Agriculture, Food and Environment.

What we do

HAICTA activates in agricultural sector with main goals the promotion of Information and Communication Technologies for farmers benefit, the modernization of agriculture, the protection of the environment and the improvement of food quality.

Member of HAICTA can be any graduate of a Higher Educational Institute, with a proven interests and scientific activities in the field of Information and Communication Technologies in the wider field of agriculture. Also, member of HAICTA can be any professional with activities in the agricultural sector and with interests in new technologies.​
